• Married to Donna S. Klaeger, current Burnet County
  Judge.
  
• Have three children, Megan, who lives and works in
  New York City; Charlie Boyd and his wife, Lindsay,
  who lives and works in Waco, Texas and Bobi, who is
  a Freshman at Texas Tech.
  

EDUCATION

• Graduated from St Mary's University with a Bachelor's
  Degree in 1979.
  
• Graduate from St. Mary's Law School in 1982.
  
• Admitted to the State Bar of Texas November 5, 1982.
  

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Private general practice in Burnet, Llano and Blanco
  Counties since 1982.
  
• Burnet County Attorney for 10 years in the 90s.
  
• Prior member of Marble Falls City Council.
  
• Burnet County ESD #1 Board Member for Horseshoe
  Bay
  

HONORS

• Awarded the James Madison Award from the Freedom
  of Information Foundation in Texas while Burnet
  County Attorney for prosecutions under the Open
  Meetings Act.
  
• Voted Best Attorney in Marble Falls for 2011 by
  Reader's Choice Award by Highland Lakes & Burnet
  Bulletin Newspaper and by the Picayune.  A total of
  Four Best Attorney Awards over the years.
  
• Voted Best Couple by the Highland Lakes & Burnet
  Bulletin Newspaper for Northern Burnet County for
  2011 although the award is primarily because of my
  wife, Donna!
